Thoughts from Adam

The work we do helps others to successfully build wealth, retire, and form legacies.

An important aspect of our work is to inspire confidence. This comes from building strong, trusted relationships that gives my clients a sense of clarity and connectedness.

Outside the office, I enjoy playing tennis and pickleball. I’m passionate about spending time with our family and friends, traveling, and exploring with them – sharing great food in different places, and finding the next best place to hike.

My bucket list includes visiting more countries throughout Europe, Asia, and South America. Our last trip to Kenya we also helped build a school. While we have traveled to many places there is so much more to learn and see!

An important quote to me is, “Data is information, information creates knowledge, knowledge creates choice, and choice drives results.” ~The Wisdom Hierarchy

About Adam

A native Chicagoan, Adam started his career in the financial industry in the early 90’s. Over the more than 30 years, he has worked with clients with many backgrounds from young entrepreneurs getting started to high net-worth families and business owners, to corporate retirement plans and charitable/philanthropic engagements.

As an institutional consultant, Adam developed expertise with wealth and portfolio management strategies and was responsible for investors’ assets totaling $3 billion. He held leadership roles with Stein Roe & Farnham, JP Morgan, Janus, Manulife John Hancock, and AssetMark. While pioneering numerous wealth management platforms, he helped hundreds of business owners with organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, and scalable systems and processes to enhance value; built and managed investment portfolios and delivered economic and market presentations to thousands of clients and conducted numerous panel discussions with accomplished economists and portfolio managers.

Outside of the office, Adam serves on various community and advisory boards and provides change management consulting services, plays pickleball, and enjoys spending time, traveling, and volunteering with his wife and two college age kids. His most interesting volunteering experience was in Kenya where his family spent two weeks building a school, living in a rural Maasai Mara village to learn about the impact of education.
