This has truly proven to be a unique time for all of us. As if the pandemic was not enough, 2020 has proven to be filled with many changes in the world of trust and estates. With all of the changes that have taken place in the law at the federal and state level this year, it is an opportune time to get a plan in place (or update an existing plan) to help minimize taxes, avoid the court system and layer in asset protection for beneficiaries.
