Harvest marks the culmination of the growing season in the vineyard at Center of Effort Wines, Arroyo Grande (San Luis Obispo County) California. The hills turn brown, but the pinot noir grapes ripen into beautiful purple clusters. We harvest them (usually at night or early morning) and bring them into the cellar when we give them the TLC they need to complete their transformation into wine. At the end of the harvest, its wonderful to sit near the vineyard with family and celebrate the “Effort" we put into pouring some magic into your glass. Thank you John & Margie Gayley. May 2021
